Antimicrobial Solutions for Foot and Ankle Surgery
Standard implants. Same procedures. Better Outcomes.

1
Optimized Foot and Ankle Procedures
Built on proven implant designs and surgical techniques, each implant is enhanced with a durable antimicrobial coating designed to help reduce the risk of infection—without changing the procedure. The result is seamless adoption, consistent performance, and added confidence. Same implants. Same procedures. Now with built-in antimicrobial protection where it matters most.

2
Better Patient and Practice Outcomes
By helping to reduce the risk of infection, our proprietary technology supports better outcomes and fewer postoperative complications so patients are less likely to require return visits—benefiting both patient care and practice economics.

3
Next-Generation Antimicrobial Technology
Designed for higher-infection-risk lower extremity procedures, this proprietary polymer platform employs directly bound, non-leaching silver to deliver broad-spectrum antimicrobial protection at the implant surface. The result is consistent antibacterial activity with no cytotoxic effects of sensitivity—adding protection without changing implant performance.

Over the past decade at Argentix, we have developed a novel antimicrobial biomaterial that irreversibly binds active silver to medical-grade polymers, delivering durable protection without leaching. Effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, and even multidrug-resistant pathogens, our antimicrobial biomaterial is applied to stainless steel and titanium orthopedic implants via our proprietary surface treatment. The result is a proven reduction in infection risk without compromising safety or altering standard surgical technique.
